This is an introductory course to the field of pharmaceuticals. You will get an overview of the pharmaceutical research and development, how drugs act in the body, how pharmaceuticals are regulated as well as the marketing and the usage of drugs
Aim
The aim of this course is to increase your knowledge and understanding and for you to feel more familiar with the terminology and hence facilitating your collaboration and communication with co-workers, partners and clients.
Learning objectives
After you have attended the course you will:
• Know common terminology and concepts within the field of pharmaceuticals
• Be familiar with the steps in modern drug development, the different players, authorities and regulations
Who should attend?
The course is for you who work in, or near, the pharmaceutical field and in need of an overview of the whole field. You may for instance be a researcher, an assistant, in business management, statistician, in finance, administrator, journalist, translator, in legal department or an investment manager.

Registration fees
The registration fee is 3.200 SEK before December 29th, thereafter 4.200 SEK. Group discount can be offered when five or more register from the same company. Please contact the project manager for more information.
The fee includes digital copies of the course documentation, breakfast sandwich, lunch and coffee.
Printed course documentation can be provided for an additional fee of 500 SEK. All prices exclude VAT.
